The department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services. Services span the needs of women from their teen years, through pregnancy to menopause and beyond. Routine screenings and checkups, as well as diagnostic workups for specialized problems, are available.

Specialised procedures to deal with Ovarian cancer, reopening of fallopian tube blocks etc. are also available.

Diagnostic and extended laproscopies like Micro ovariotomies, ovarian cystectomy, adhesiolysis and salpingostomy or salpingectomy for ectopic pregnancies besides diagnosis of primary amneuorhrea, infertility work up, tubectomy etc are done at Apex.

Vaginal ultrasound for routine gynaecological evaluation and follicular study, ovum retrieval, Hysterscopy and associated procedures are also performed at Apex. The Gynaecology And Obstetrics department serves as a referral centre for hospitals in Central India. It is filled with qualified specialists, specially trained nurses and latest equipments to deal with high risk pregnancy and pre-mature babies. It has a tertiary care obstetrics centre which offers extensive facilities for mother and child care.
